Anyone looking for a used plane?

If so, the Aero Toy Store has something that might interest you - if you have (very) deep pockets . . .

It's a Boeing 747SP (the shortened, extended-range version of the original Boeing 747-100). It's equipped with an ultra-luxurious suite in the forward part, with 64 commercial-type seats in the rear (for your servants and flunkies, obviously). Here are a few pictures of the luxury interior.

The bathrooms feature marble and gold fittings.

I don't know the asking price, but I'll be very surprised if it isn't in the mid- to high eight figures! Nice toy, if you can afford it . . .

The exterior paint scheme looks okay, but that interior is so tacky it makes my eyes hurt...yikes.

You'd have to spend millions making it livable. That being said, I've always thought it would be cool to have a live-aboard plane.

I'm with D.W. The interior looks like something one would expect in a high-end cathouse.

Midddle East potentate. Probably traded it in on a newer one.

Anon got it in one... Probably from the Saudi Fleet, probably the back up aircraft. They are going Airbus now...

It works if you need the cross-section, or really want 4 engines, but otherwise a 747 that short just looks cartoonish.
