The video clip below is from the 1995 Circuit of Ireland Rally, held over Easter that year. A photographer took up position to get some good shots - and nearly got a shot of his own!

That's just not a close call. The guy very wisely set himself up in a place he couldn't be hit, and sure enough, he wasn't hit.
Looks horrific but...he knew exactly what he was doing.
Still, I wonder who had to change their pants later?
Yeah, bet he needed new underwear... WOW!
Cool customer, too. He dodges just far enough out of the way to avoid the car and then almost casually braces himself and snaps a picture before running in to help. Not bad...
